A Brief History

Recession.org is a project maintained by a group of concerned intellectuals from around the country.

Originally launched in late 1999 the site suffered a few years of infrequent updates and outdated information.

2007 brought new life into Recession.org with a complete renovation and a new structured volunteer staff.

Within months of its re-launch Recession.org has attracted tens of thousands of readers from around the world and is growing daily!

We’re now devoted in our mission to provide readers with the latest news related to the Global Economy.

We provide daily updated news on the current U.S. Economic Recession as well as a full Library of informative articles.
